36 Blessings My Parents Have Given Me
1. My parents took me to church, even when I did not want to go.
2. My father worked and sacrificed so my sisters and I could have a stay-at-home mom.
3. Mom gave up working outside the home to stay at home with us kiddos.
4. Parents that read to us.
5. Parents that loved us.
6. Parents that gave me golden hand-cuffs (freedom and responsibility).
7. Parents that listen...
8. Parents that homeschooled my sisters and me.
9. Dad's provisions of creature comforts
10. Time Mother spent taking being the adult leader in all our clubs.
11. Dad making it to dance recitals and important events.
12. Dad teaching us to count money.
13. Mother teaching us how to wisely spend our money.
14. A father who still will air up the tires in my car.
15. A father who wants the best for his children.
16. A mother who poured her life into her children.
17. Being taught to save money.
18. Being taught to take care of what you have
19. Being taught to cook and sew
20. Learning to make a house a home
21. Watching you serve widows nightly
22. Watching you help neighbors
23. Watching you care for those less fortunate
24. Watching you serve
25. Watching you give more to others than you are given
26. Watching you learn and grow
27. Talking to you and listening to your advice
28. Watching you overcome limitations
29. Seeing you do hard things
30. Taking time to care for the "little things"
31. Seeing what character meant in real life
32. Praying with us
33. Playing games with us

This Thursday, I'm thankfully celebrating my parents 36 years together and all the blessings I have gained from them.

Thank you so very much for the beautiful anniversary card, 2011 style! Dad and I are so very blessed to have three beatiful daughter who are living their lives ready and willing to answer God's call. Thank you for all the fun times we have shared together. You are a very special person and have many God given talents. I am so excited and blessed to see how God will be using you as you continue to teach, work with teen girls,and help others. I love you so very much, thank you for all you stand for. Love, Mom
